In recognition of significant efforts and superior performance associated with Controllership, GE Capital recognized five employees with 1998 Controllership Awards.

Joan Amble, vice president and controller for GE Capital, explained that controllership is “a value-added, unyielding commitment to compliance, effectiveness of business process, and integrity of communication.”

“The efforts of the following individuals are a testament to their continued pursuit of sound Controllership as a method of creating an environment geared to the achievement of our business objectives,” noted Amble.
