Norman Barry is Professor of Social and Political Theory at the University of Buckingham. He is a specialist in the political philosophy and political economy of classical liberalism, the theory of welfare and business ethics. His books include Hayek's Social and Economic Philosophy; An Introduction to Modern Political Theory; On Classical Liberalism and Libertarianism; Welfare and The Morality of Business Enterprise. He is a member of the Academic Advisory Boards of the Institute of Economic Affairs (London) and the David Hume Institute.
