Dr. Herrera was educated in the U.S.A., Cuba, and Spain, receiving his Ph.D. from the New School Graduate Faculty under Hans Jonas. He has taught at the New School for Social Research (NSSR), Baruch College of CUNY, Rutgers, and is Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ. He is the author or editor of eight books, including Donoso Cortes: Cassandra of the Age (Eerdmans, 1995).
