Dr. Liggio is Distinguished Senior Scholar at the Institute for Humane Studies; Research Professor at the Law School of George Mason University; and Executive Vice President of the Atlas Economic Research Foundation. He is Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Salvatori Center for Academic Leadership at the Heritage Foundation. He was President of the Philadelphia Society from 1992 through 1994; member of the Program Committee for the Mt. Pélerin Society in 1994 and of the American Catholic Historical Association in 1992. He has been a Visiting Professor at the Francisco Marroquin University; University of Aix-en-Provence. He formerly taught at City College of New York and the State University of New York at Old Westbury, and edited Literature of Liberty.
