Paul A. Rahe is Jay P. Walker Professor of American History at the University of Tulsa. His book Republics Ancient and Modern: Classical Republicanism and the American Revolution, which appeared in 1992, has now been made available in a three-volume paperback edition from the University of North Carolina Press.
