Unparalleled Library of Modern Thinkers Series

It is tragic that America's institutions of higher learning—to say nothing of the mainstream publishing industry—neglect the intellectual giants of the past century and a half who have contributed the most to the advancement and understanding of freedom and virtue. This trend not only deprives the rising generation of important exemplars and sources for much wisdom and knowledge, it bodes ill for the future of freedom itself in the West. In an effort to help remedy this situation, ISI Books has inaugurated a new series of books dedicated to reclaiming the patrimony of order and freedom bequeathed to us by a host of intellectual giants, entitled the Library of Modern Thinkers

This series offers authoritative introductions to the thought of leading intellectual defenders of ordered freedom whose ideas have influenced the development of a conservative intellectual tradition, as written by leading contemporary scholars who are themselves authorities on the thinkers about whom they write. Each book includes a bibliography, chronology, and other appropriate critical material.
