WITHIN THE U.S.

Here you can obtain general information for exempt homeowners, renters and training program members who are relocating within the United States. In order to qualify for relocation benefits, this must be a company-requested, U.S. domestic transfer involving a change in residence that meets the IRS distance requirements.

Relocation benefits are extended at the discretion of your business. Please be sure to talk with your human resources manager to understand any limits set by your business for expenses and the amount of time you spend away from your job for relocation-related activities. Under the relocation programs, you have one year from your effective date of transfer, or start date (in the case of new hires), to complete your relocation.

Your human resources manager will complete and forward your relocation authorization form to the GE Capital Relocation Specialist. You will be provided a relocation counselor at the GE Relocation Center within one to three business days following receipt of the authorization form. Your relocation counselor can address your specific benefits questions. You can reach the GE Relocation Center at (000) 000-0000.

GE Capital wants your relocation to be successful from start to finish. The materials found on this web site, along with facilitation from your relocation counselor, are designed to quickly and easily guide you through each aspect of your relocation.

Relocation documents and forms are only available to human resources representatives and are located in Human Resources Documents.

The New Hire Transfer Center provides new and transferring associates paid through the GE CPARS payroll, a central point of contact for benefits orientation and enrollment; payroll set-up and corporate credit cards. It also provides hiring managers and human resources representatives with an orientation guide and checklist to help ensure a successful transition for new associates. If you do not know if you are paid through GE CPARS payroll, please call your human resources manager. The logon ID and password are located in the human resources managers' New Hire Transfer Center toolkit.
